Jack competed in the MAWA (AAU) Regional Tournament yesterday and finished well enough to continue on to the Eastern National Tournament (17 eastern states) in Maryland at the end of the month. It was a TOUGH field of 21 52 pounders (all placewinners in the district tournaments) and every match Jack had was exciting.
He won a had-to-win first round match in order to continue in the tournament and then won a thrilling overtime match to wrestle in the semi finals. He faced some REALLY good wrestlers after that, but never got pinned and wrestled well in every match.
