Fiona has her first session of soccer camp today, and she did great.
The numbers at camp seem to be way down (I counted about 45 kids all together), so they did the first half hour or so in a group.
It was tough for Fiona, because she really hasn’t been taught yet even how to dribble and they had them doing running and passing drills, but she hung in there.
For the last fifteen minutes or so, her group (four- and five-year-olds) played a four-on-four game.
They asked all the kids to wear their camp shirts today, but apparently that didn’t fit in with Fiona’s fashion sense. She insisted on keeping on her Glasgow Celtic uniform.
Tomorrow she’ll be a “golden girl” in her USA women’s soccer team uniform.
A few photos are here.
