(I’m a bit behind on posting photos from some of the summer activities, so I’m trying hard to catch up. The Southampton tournament was at the beginning of the month.)
The Solebury U10 baseball team FINALLY worked out their slump. The bats came alive and the pitching was great. They made a few of the other teams a bit angry with their bunt-and-run strategy, but hey, it worked for Joe Torre’s Yankees for years.
Jack was thrilled when he got to play a bit at catcher and had a couple of great hits and did his usually VERY agressive base running. He missed one Sunday game because of football camp, but he doubled up the rest of the games: football camp for 8 hours in the day and baseball at night.
Photos are here from the three games Jack played in.
