You’ll notice that Jack has a surly look in some of the photos of the kids in the their Easter outfits. He didn’t like his sweater, and in fact, spent most of the time at church writing and illustrating an elaborate page with the words “I hate this sweater.”
Owen was only surly when Fiona was nearby or touching him. (Owen, continuing his tradition of having a black eye on all major holidays, managed to face plant on one of Molly’s bones the day before Easter to give himself a world-class shiner.)
Fiona was pretty happy throughout, although she didn’t get in a little bit of trouble for false starting in the Easter Egg Hunt at church. She made up for it on the re-start, hurdling a couple of gravestones to get to the eggs.
