Outstanding Football Player Award

Jack spent two weeks at football camp in NJ — one week at the Chris Snee camp at William Patterson University and one week at the Offense-Defense camp at Rider.

At the Chris Snee camp, Jack won the “outstanding football player award” as the best overall player in the under-11 age group.

Although he was one of the smallish guys playing, he was almost unstoppable at linebacker and quite fearsome as a fullback. (In the photos, Jack’s the little guy in the navy jersey and red shorts.)

The next week at the Rider camp, Jack played more linebacker, but also learned that he likes the hitting he gets to do when he plays on the offense line. At that camp, he got a “report card” that was graded on a 1-4 scale and Jack got all 4′s and 3+ grades.

Owen also attended the Rider camp and I’ll get photos of him up and tell his story later this week. (Quick preview….tiny little Owen player CENTER!!)
