Jack as the executioner

Jack’s class at Germantown has been studying Henry VIII and they put on a play covering Henry’s marriage with Katherine of Aragon through the reign of Elizabeth.

Jack performed as the town crier, the executioner (he got to chop off the heads of Anne Boleyn and Mary, Queen of Scots, and a king’s guard).

They did a great job on the play and the students seemed to be in charge EVERYTHING themselves. Mr. Martin, Jack’s teacher, sat in the audience with the parents.

Short photo album of shots from the
Henry VIII play is here.
