For the third week in a row, the Jr. PeeWee Lions didn’t allow the other team to score a point, beating the Lansdale Cannoneers 19-0.

Kevin and Owen’s team, the Jr. PeeWee (105 lb) Lions, posted another win, shutting out the Lions.
I missed most of the first half the game, because I was at Marsh Creek with Jack’s team.

Owen didn’t run the ball quite as often this week, but when he did, he was good for at least five yards. Much of the time when Owen runs the ball, he’s dragging a large number of the other team’s players with him (see photo).

Jack ran away from everyone and scored his first touchdown of the season. It was a beautiful run — around the end, then accelerate — for about 60+ yards.

Owen had his first football game of the season today. The team had played the week before, but Owen missed the game because of the wedding. It was the team’s second win and they really looked great, beating the Greenjackets 18-6.

Kevin left Lizzie and Mike wedding celebration after the ceremony and before the reception to go coach his Jr. PeeWee team. As Owen was an important member of the wedding party, he missed the game.
The Lions won without Owen, however, beating Lenape Valley 20-0.

We spent most of last week with Jack in Williamsburg, VA while he attended the invitation-only “Top Gun” football camp. Owen (Gold #53) had his toughest football game ever yesterday. Poor guy, he was playing center and they were lining up in both A gaps against him and he was trying to handle two huge guys on his own.
