Because Jack’s playing with the Upper Makefield Mavericks, he’s also playing in their rec program. He’s having a great time and his team is really good. Right now, I think they’re tied for third, but have flirted with first place in the league for a game or two.

Jack spent Friday night, and all day Saturday and Sunday at “Football University,” a training camp for serious football middle school and high school players. They take just a few players at each position and work them HARD with NFL & college coaches and players. Jack was in … Read the rest⇒
Although it wasn’t a great game for the team (the Mavericks lost), Jack got to pitch in his first travel game ever!!

The Spring/Summer baseball marathon is underway. Jack’s travel team, the Mavericks, won their first game yesterday. Of course, they had to make it “interesting” (!) — they were out to a huge lead,
Jack and Owen have qualified for the MAWA Regional Tournament every year they’ve entered. That’s four years for Jack and three for Owen. Jack’s first qualification was in 2006 and his most recent was last weekend (we took 2009 off). Every time, they’ve either qualified in first place or second.… Read the rest⇒
