This is from an email that Kevin sent to the team:

Here’s the game summary for our Friday night tilt against Lenape Valley 6.  It was a corker.  Please note that summary below is based upon my giddy recollection of the events and may not be 100% factual (Actually,

2 TDs, 1 Pick & 100+ Yards: Jack had a good game!

_MG_3610

The NHS Lions Jr. PeeWee gold team dominated last night, beating Lenape Valley 30-6. After going through the bazillion photos and re-living the game, I can honestly say that EVERY. SINGLE. PLAYER did something great. Although Jack (#24)  clearly had his best game ever, it was due to the great …

Football begins!! (Jr. PeeWee version)

_MG_3016

I only made it to half of Jack’s game, because Owen and I were 1.5 hours away for his game, but from what I saw of the Jr. PeeWee gold team, I was very impressed.

(Kevin is the head coach, so he filled me in, play-by-play (!), on the

_MG_7474

Jack played on Solebury’s U10 Little League team this summer. It seems the team set a Solebury record of winning more games in the tournament than any other Solebury team ever has.

They won four straight (as part of an eight-game winning streak), before losing their last two …

Unfortunately, the slump continues.

The Spiders played well, but just couldn’t quite pull off a win against Doylestown — a team they beat earlier in the season — in the playoffs.

On a bright note for Jack, he had a nice hit into the outfield.

Some photos from the game

The Mangan Mets went 4-1-1 to end the season playing their best baseball of the year.  All the boys contributed, and I think they all improved their skills in one way or another.

Some photos from the last few games are here.
