I haven’t forgotten about my photo-a-day project(s), I’ve just gotten a bit behind putting the pages together and posting them. I’ve got all the photos and notes done, and have posted a few new family PAD pages (photo-a-day links are in right sidebar.) Stay tuned for the rest of them as time allows!

Photo-a-Day
This is a drawing of Abraham Lincoln giving the Gettysburg Address that was today’s homework. Owen also said he wrote a story today inspired by Cicero (!) about a snowball & a boy who go on trial.
As the weather starts to get a little bit nicer, we’ve been playing basketball. Owen beat Kevin & Jack at a game of “HORSE” today. He’s got a decent shot, plus his dribbling has gotten a lot more coordinated.

Pull-ups, pull-ups, pull-ups. Owen & Jack are supposed to do pushups & pull-ups every night. Owen’s up to three sets of about five pull-ups.

Scary. Owen’s hair is getting so long that we’re worried he’s going to be asked to wear a skull cap in the big tournaments. He wore one in his NHS match this week to get used to how it feels.
